They're cut from the same GI pattern as the original World War II-era shorts, a design which has left little room for improvement. A single patch pocket is included at the back, and the front opening features a button fly closure. The adjustable pull strap ensures an ideal fit, and the O-ring is made of anodized brass for durability that'll stand up to rugged use.
